Happonvilliers (May 30)

I was on my way to find a mosaic garden, outside a place called Happonvilliers.  Just when I thought I'd missed it, I found the sign.  I was the only one there, and it turned out it wasn't open, but the owner very kindly let me in anyway.  She was delightful.  Hurfane is 84 years old and has been creating these mosaics since 1980.  Her creativity and sense of colour is amazing. These are shots from the Blue Garden.

The detail, her use of colour and design and the sheer amount of work in the garden is extraordinary.  Here are some pictures from the pink garden.
