Shopping

Well, Singapore isn't ALL about the food - shopping is high on the list!  To be honest, I'm not rushing to Orchard Road.  I guess I want a different sort of experience.  Merchandise in Little India spills out from the shop to the other side of the footpath.

Arab Street in Kampong Glam is renowned for its fabrics

Gorgeous as they were, nothing called my name.  It's the place to come for dress fabrics really, and for sari material.  I did see some indigo fabrics made in Korea - but they did not make my heart beat faster, so I moved on.  Parallel to this well known street is Haji Lane - more boutiquey and design-oriented.  Cute
