Montmartre - Part 3 (May 3)

This sculpture relates to local writer Marcel Ayme's story about a man who could walk through walls.
I guess if he's coming, someone else is going.
This shop is called "Permission to dream" - the garden above looks like a place you could certainly dream in.
I wanted to see the restaurant from Amelie, but balked at going in.
Instead I had a coffee here.
And small it was - my seat was right near the door and people brushed past all the time.  It was a busy little place.  One customer was outside more than in, pacing, his dark coat swinging, his cigarette never far away.  He had a James Dean look about him - James Dean plus about 30 years of hard living.  When he kissed his girlfriend it was a Doisneau picture come to life.
