Vienna (May 22) - Part 2

The Naschmarkt is a long line of permanent buildings with a huge variety of food and other wares.  Horse liverwurst anyone?
Freshly roasted coffee
cheap trachten
marinated garlic
nicely packaged nibbles
and zopfkase - zopf being German for pigtail or plait - a perfect description of twisted mozarella.
Across the road the most beautifully decorated houses.
On the ground a memorial to people who'd been taken during the Second World War and murdered.
I had a look at some archives of Wiener Werkstette designs, in the basement of a business that operates to this day.  Original sketches
and a vault full of priceless history.
The mark of Hotel Sacher, home of the famous Sachertorte.
I ended up at Cafe Mozart.
For dinner I had a selection of sausages, two kinds of mustard, and grated fresh horseradish
washed down with a rotwein gespritzt - half wine and half soda - very refreshing.
